TCDA-IBF welcomes Philippe Solano, Soloist with the National Opera of the Capitol of Toulouse


We are excited to welcome Soloist Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer Philippe Solano to our 2023 faculty.


Philippe Solano is a dancer with an international career for many years in several ballet companies such as Europa Danse, the Ballet de l'Opéra National de Bordeaux, the National Ballet of Georgia, the Ballet of Angel Corella, the Ballet de the Opéra National de Paris as well as Ballet de Victor Ullate.


Philippe Solano is presently Soloist with the Ballet of the National Opera of the Capitol of Toulouse, Choreographer, Classical Dance Teacher as well as Jury for various international dance competitions.


He had the opportunity to perform many roles as a Soloist and also as a Principal Dancer, such as "Basilio" in Don Quixote, "Albrecht" in Giselle or the "Prince" in The Nutcracker.


During his career, he had the opportunity to perform works by great choreographers such as Rudolf Nureyev, Roland Petit, Angelin Preljocaj, Maurice Béjart, Carolyn Carlson, Jiri Kylian, Serge Lifar, William Forsythe, David Dawson, Kader Belarbi and John Neumeier.
